Minister Lydia Mutsch;
Luxembourg's Minister of Equal Opportunities, Lydia Mutsch, will be attending the 62nd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York from 12-14 March 2018.
Every year, high-level representatives of Member States meet at UN headquarters to assess progress on gender equality and identify challenges for the future.
On the sidelines of the plenary sessions, Minister Mutsch will chair the Francophone consultation meeting and will take the opportunity to discuss current issues in the field of equality policies for women and men in bilateral meetings. This will include the role of women in decision-making and the shared commitment to all forms of discrimination and violence.
