On Friday, Prince Sebastian passed out at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in England, where he had been training; the Price is the youngest son of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess.

Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were present at the passing-out parade, as were other members of the Luxembourg royal family.

As a cadet officer at the end of his military training, Prince Sebastian participated this year in the traditional Sovereign's Parade (Passing Out parade). After the review of the troops by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, the traditional festival ended with a parade of cadets at the end of which Prince Sebastian and his comrades joined their parents and family at Old College Square to attend a lunch.

Prince Sebastian perpetuates a tradition that links the Grand Ducal Family to the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst (RMAS). In the past, his father, Grand Duke Henri (1975) and Heriditary Grand Duke Guillaume, the older brother of Prince Sebastian (2002), also attended this prestigious school of officers. His grandfather, Grand Duke Jean, was trained at the Royal Military College in Sandhurst before becoming a Lieutenant, then Colonel of the Irish Guards Regiment, to serve as Honorary General of the British Army.7

The event was also attended by their Royal Highnesses the Hedititary Grand Duke Guillaume and Heriditary Grand Duchess, Prince Felix and Princess Claire, as well as Prince Louis and Princess Alexandra.
