On 22 September 2015 the Chambre de Commerce will be holding a country seminar on economic opportunities in the Czech Republic in conjunction with the visit of the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, Jan Mládek, to Luxembourg.

The Czech Republic represents one of the most successful Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries in terms of attracting foreign direct investment and holds significant business opportunities for Luxembourg companies. Czech Republic has one of the highest projected EU 2015 GDP growths of 2.5% (IMF)  and holds significant industrial potential, a large trade surplus and an attractive business environment.

The seminar, organised in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Luxembourg, will seek to outline the opportunities available in strengthening and deepening the commercial and economic ties between the two countries. Special focus will be given to the two target sectors of ICT and green technologies, specifically with regard to the field of renewable resources.

The seminar will also comprise a round table allowing those in attendance to present their products and services, as well as activities and potential projects in relation to the Czech market.

All sessions will be conducted in English and participation in the event is free of charge. For information on how to register, click here. The deadline for registration is 20 September 2015.
