On 26 April 2017, a Differdange-based construction company JF & MJ CONSTRUCTION SARL, specialist in the construction of houses and residences, was declared bankrupt with the loss of 15 jobs.
On 3 May 2017, the LCGB trade union held an information meeting for the staff concerned in order to assist them in drawing up their claims. The aim of the meeting was to ensure that employees can receive late payment and bankruptcy benefits as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the LCGB is assisting the former employees in their search for a new job.
