The American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (AMCHAM) has announced that it will hold an evening seminar on Wednesday 17 May 2017 from 18:30 at EY Luxembourg (35E Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg-Kirchberg) on the topic of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR).

Entitled "GDPR - take control of your risk", AMCHAM’s COMIT and FINCOM Committees are organising the discussion on how to take control of your risk in the context of the upcoming entry into force on 25 May 2018 of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with a panel introduction by CNPD Commissioner, Christophe Buschmann.

What are the risks? How to tackle them? Is it possible to get insurance coverage in this respect? The event will involve a discussion of these questions, looking at the GDPR from different standpoints.

Keynote speeches:

- François Barret, EY: “Risk Management”

- Héloïse Bock, Arendt & Medernach: “International transfers”

- Frank Vanhoonacker, AIG: “Protection Against Cyber Risks”
