On Wednesday 19 July 2017, the College of Mayor and Aldermen of the Ville de Luxembourg (VdL) awarded the winners of the Sharing the City Quiz.

From 12 June to 9 July 2017, the VdL, in collaboration with the Vëos-Initiativ Lëtzebuerger, Road Safety and the Grand-Ducal Police, carried out an awareness-raising campaign to respect the sharing of public space between different road users. This was complemented by a quiz, addressed to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, on the site respect.vdl.lu.

In total, over 5,000 people participated in the quiz of which 1,460 responded correctly to the 10 questions. Among these, a random draw determined the winners of the numerous prizes awarded by yesterday at the Town Hall.

The first prize, a gift voucher valued at €1,000 from a bike shop, was awarded to Marina Victor and the second prize, a one-year network subscription on all public transport links at Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with a value of €440, to Céline Diederich. Ten other people won a safety gadget set. These were Paula Gaspar, Maja Roginska, Maria Hazasova, Vanessa Cum, Anne-Marie Linden, Ronny Schanen, Lalla Samira, Taoudi Edrissi, Frank Theis, Zofia Podolan, and Jill Thinnes.
