As announced on 3 May 2017, the National Danish Performance Team will visit Luxembourg once again on their 2016-2017 World Tour to perform their show IMANI on Sunday 28 May 2017 in the Centre Atert in Bertrange (1 rue Atert), as well as hosting two workshops at the European School in Bertrange.

Details of the performance have now been revealed.

The National Danish Performance Team is a group of 28 talented young gymnasts who travel the world every two years doing workshops with children and performing their world-class show, IMANI. They are great ambassadors for healthy living and an active lifestyle with an important message: Sport is for all, for life and for fun!

They have travelled to 12 countries on 6 continents, performed 126 shows and done 160 workshops and are now on the last leg of their tour before returning to Denmark.

IMANI is a world-class show with a dynamic mix of tumbling, vaulting, dance and acrobatics put together to form graceful and colourful choreographies. IMANI means believing in Swahili: Believing in yourself, in one another and in the community. The three different dimensions: I - WE - US, is the revolving theme in this year’s show.

All proceeds of the show will be donated to Trisomie 21 Lëtzebuerg, a Luxembourgish association committed to helping people with Down’s Syndrome as well as their families.

The event is being organised by the Danish Association and the Danish Church in Luxembourg. Doors open at 14:00 and the display starts at 15:00.

Cost: €15 (adults); €5 (children, 3-15 years). Tickets can be purchased at ByDK, Dania, The Fairy and Scanshop, or via email: ndptlux@gmail.com

In addition to the show, the team will host workshops at the European School II, engaging with over 600 students. During their visit to Luxembourg the gymnasts will be staying with host families.
