This year’s 4 Nations Curling Cup was played between three Nations (the French Curling had to play their “Coupe de France” at the same time).

First, a Round Robin (each team against each team) with 8 ends was played with the following results:

Letzebuerg 1: 3 victories,
Campina Tournai (BEL): 2 victories,
Letzebuerg 2: 1 victory,
Köln/Düsseldorf  (GER) :  0 victory.

The Gold Final finished with a final score of 9-9 and a three Last Stone Draws had to be played (three players of each team have to throw a stone to the button and the team with the shortest distance, wins)

LETZEBUERG 1 with Marco ETIENNE, Dan KELLY and Fabio VELTRI won, with a distance of 220.60 cm; Second was CAMPINA TOURNHOUT (BEL) had a distance of 363.60 cm.

The Bronze Final was won by LETZEBUERG 2 with Alex Benoy, Claude Schweitzer, Ian Munn and Susi Benoy / Karen Wauters, with 10-6 against Köln/Düsseldorf.

Over the weekend all spectators in the Patinoire were able to see good curling and enthusiastic players, happy to play in a very friendly spirit of curling in Kockelscheuer on good curling ice.
