At this week-end's Curling coupe de l'Amitié 2016 (Friendship Cup) held at Kockelscheuer close to the end of the 2015-2016 season, the team of Marc HANSEN, Yannik HANSEN, Francesco Grassi and Fabio VELTRI were declared the 2016 winners.
After their recent success at a tournament in Saignelégier (CH) where they finished third, the team from Viry / Paris with William Naquin as skip were deferated 14-3 in the final.
The Luxembourg teams put in very good performances tooccupy 3rd and 4th positions, with team Broombastics with skip Yves Sieradzki and Team Scot-Cans with skip Daniel Kelly.
The team appear ready for the next challenge with the European Curling Championships just around the corner, which take place at the end of April in Slovenia, with the team being led by Alex Benoy.
