Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July 2016 will see the return of Optimists Cricket Club's annual 6-a-side cricket tournament to Luxembourg.

Walferdange's Pierre Werner Cricket Ground will host the tournament, which has come to be known as a significant fixture in the Grand Duchy's cricket calendar.
However, this year it makes its reappearance with a slightly altered structure, with eight teams of six players battling it out on the field. 2016 will also mark a special edition for the organisers, as the host club is celebrating its 40th Anniversary.

The usual BBQ will be brought back throughout most of Saturday and Sunday, along with other food options, whilst drinks will be provided by the bar from the moment the first ball is bowled to the moment the trophy is lifted at the end of the weekend.

Attendance is free of charge, but the Optimists ask that anyone driving refrains from parking on the residential side of the road and instead use the overflow car park in between the swimming pool and the rugby field. For more information, click here.
