The 33rd annual J.P. Morgan City Jogging event will take place on Sunday 3 July 2016 around the streets of Kirchberg and Luxembourg city (J.P. Morgan has sponsored the event since 2005), with course options of 6km and 10km, both starting/ending at d'Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

On the day, the warm-up will start at 09:45, with the official start from d'Coque at 10:00; the City Walking, Power- and Nordic Walking course will start ten minutes later, with the children's Jogging Yuppi Mini Laf at 12:00 (1km; for 5-11 year-olds). From Kirchberg, the course goes through Clausen, the Pétrusse valley, the Place d'Armes, the Grand Rue and the Pont Grand-Duchesse Charlotte (red bridge). Three liquid refreshment stands will be situated along the route, at the Pétrusse Minigolf, Post on Ave Monterey, Rond Pont Schuman and the finish at d'Coque, as well as at the finish (Viva, Rivella and Aquarius).

After the running, the JP & M Orchestra will perform from 12:15 - 13:30, with a tombola being help at midday. The event is also arranging a crèche and garderie for children, and food will also be available. Souvenir t-shirts will also he available for purchase at €18.

To date, 1,428 people are registered to attend, with 1,103 for the full 10k distance, 224 for the City Walking, Power- and Nordic Walking, and 111 for the Yuppi Mini Laf event for children; a total of around 3,600 participants are expected, as per 2015.
