After the earthquake on the island of Kos during Thursday night, LuxairTours announced on Friday morning that it is in permanent contact with the Greek authorities and the LuxairTour guides on the ground at the destination.

A total of 236 LuxairTours clients are currently in Kos. Since Friday morning, LuxairTours has been getting into touch with all its clients on site to ensure that they are safe and unharmed. Initially information was difficult to get; LuxairTours then succeeded in getting in touch with their hotels in Kos and confirmed that all 236 clients that are currently at the destination were contacted directly by LuxairTours.

The tour operator reported that no LuxairTours clients were injured or harmed during the earthquake. A total of 59 LuxairTours clients requested to return to Luxembourg as soon as possible; in order to meet this demand, LuxairTours announced that Luxair Luxembourg Airlines arranged an additional flight to Kos on Friday night.

Luxair’s next scheduled flight to Kos will be operated this Sunday, 23 July 2017. LuxairTours has announced that clients who booked a flight for 23 or 30 July to Kos and who do not wish to travel, can rebook or cancel their reservation with no additional fees.
