The Château d'Ansembourg has annoucned that it will be organising its 28th annual Fete du Grand-Château d'Ansembourg on Sunday 6 August 2017 from 11:00 - 18:00.

The festival will be part of the official programme of the 2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.

Organised by LH Europe, with the representatives of Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, UK, Switzerland, Russia, Baltic countries, Italia, Sweden, Germany and Luxembourg, and in partnership with the NGO Nature et Progrès Belgium, the event expects to attract circa 3,000 people to the chateau and its grounds.

The Fete provides an occasion for those attending to taste cuisines from all the countries represented, display regional products and show artistic animation of high quality. Guided tours will also be given of the historic barocco gardens in Luxembourgish, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and English.

The event is recognised for its recycling efforts and the use of genuine regional products (most often organic). It is also an occasion to develop international contacts, share ideas and recipes, as well as to develop new projects onto an international perspective.
