The Well Baby Clinic has announced, with great regret, the closure of one of Luxembourg´s oldest English-speaking charities.
At the end of January, the Well Baby Clinic will cease its core services of “Mums, Bumps & Babies”, and end its commitment to the Bohler Clinic within three months. Founded 23 years ago, the Well Baby Clinic has offered highly professional, evidence-based pre-and postnatal care to the English-speaking community in Luxembourg by a steady stream of volunteers.
Due to changing economic conditions and a more crowded market, it has become impossible to find the next generation of qualified, professional women willing to give some of their time to a worthy cause, so with sadness, they have decided to close.
All present and past members, clients and friends of the Well Baby Clinic, are invited to attend the final “Mums, Bumps & Babies” coffee morning to celebrate the work of Liz Alexander, Ruth Meikle and the rotating list of short-term and long-term volunteers that gave so much of their time to the Well Baby Clinic over these last 23 years.
the event is being held on Wednesday 25 January from 09:30-11:30 at the usual venue of Am Duerf, Steinsel, when those present will raise a glass to these women and the honourable institution of the Well Baby Clinic. All are welcome.
