On Sunday 25 June att 18:30, the Anglican Church of Luxembourg will celebrate a Te Deum in honour of the Grand Duke’s Official Birthday and the National Day, at the Church in Cents (Eglise de Cents, rue de Trèves, Luxembbourg'Cents).

In the tradition of the Anglican Church in Luxembourg, worshippers pray for the Sovereign at every service, something which the Church has been doing since the first Anglican service was held in Luxembourg 61 years ago this year, but this occasion will only be the second time it will have celebrated a Te Deum.

During the service the Anglican Church Choir and friends will sing the Te Deum by John Ireland (1879-1962). The service will be conducted by the Venerable Dr Paul Vrolijk, Archdeacon of North West Europe, with Thierry Hirsch as organist. The service will last about one hour, and will be followed by a reception.
