The oldest Italian restaurant in Luxembourg, La Bella Napoli, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a cocktail reception on 5 October 2016.
The famous restaurant began as a tourist hotel with a huge court at the back which served as a playground for the Balestri-Vitali family’s children. Several years later, in 1976, Benito and Dlefina Balestri converted it into the “Pizzeria Bella Napoli” as it is known today, making it the first - and therefore today’s oldest - Italian restaurant in Luxembourg. In 1991, Giancarlo Balestri took over management and is still in charge today.
In preparation for the restaurant’s 40th anniversary, La Bella Napoli is invites people to discover, or rediscover, its famous authentic Italian cuisine with a celebratory cocktail reception on 5 October from 17:00 at 4 rue de Strasbourg L- 2560 Luxembourg.
