Over a hundred people braved the snow and worked their brains at the annual Telstar Table Quiz held at the FNEL scouts headquarters in Cents on Friday evening.
A total of 15 teams participated to answer Steve and Barry's interesting and challenging questions. After the ten rounds, a tie-break was required to split the two top teams who had both finished on 43 points, with team Esperance prevailing.
Many scouts, explorers and leaders were involved in the organisation of the event, from providing and serving both hot and cold food, and drinks at the bar, with a tombola and talent auction also held during the evening to held raise funds for the scout group. This money is used to help young people reach their full potential as individuals through scouting activities.
