The FNEL Rovers today announced that from 2 until 21 August 2015, seven members of the Luxembourg Scouts group will be in Tanzania to take part in community projects.

Tanzania's Ilula Orphan Programme (IOP) will be the group's main port of call, where they will meet and interact with orphans at the well-known organisation.

The main part of the project will consist of setting up blackboards in schools within a 20 km radius of Ilula, where the quality of the boards is often so bad that words cannot be read off them. At the end, the Rover group will meet with local Scouts from IOP, with whom they will then visit a Scoutscamp.

The €9,000 that has so far been collected will be put towards the costs of blackboards and other school materials for the children.
