Grammy Awards winner Gast Waltzing has a busy upcoming summer with the announcement of new projects.

Firstly, on 19 July 2017, a new album entitled Fried Pride Live in Luxembourg with l’Orchestre Pasdeloup arranged and conducted by Gast Waltzing will be released by the Japanese label JVC Kenwood Victor Entertainment Corporation. The singer Shiho is renowned in Japan, especially for her leading role in the Jazz duo « Fried Pride » with the guitarist Akio Yokota.

This live album was recorded at the Conservatory of Luxembourg during the past edition of the Echternach International Festival, under the baton of Gast Waltzing.

Furthermore, the maestro will conduct the San Diego Symphony Orchestra on the 13 August 2017 at the Embarcadero Marina Park South in San Diego, for a concert featuring Angélique Kidjo.

Gast Waltzing is also working with guitarist David Laborier arranging music for an exciting project with the Reunionese singer Morgan Ji, trumpeter Jan Hasenöhrl and the Orchestre National de Jazz du Luxembourg. The result will be a concert on 8 July 2017 at the Echternach International Festival.

Lastly, Waltzing is currently working on two film soundtracks, “3ème Noces” by the director David Lambert and “White Fang” by Oscar winning director Alexandre Espigares. The “White Fang” soundtrack will be recorded on 7 and 8 July at the Conservatory of Luxembourg with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg.
