Francesco Tristano will perform in Dublin for the first time, bringing his Piano 2.0 project to the National Concert Hall (John Field Room) on 27 July 2017 as part of the Dublin International Piano Festival.

Tristano has mastered the combining of piano and synthesiser, amongst the scores of Johann Sebastian Bach, Frescobaldi, Rameau and others with the latest production and sequencing tools. Music is music regardless of its style; electronic or baroque, dance or avant-garde. Piano 2.0 is an energising synthesis of both languages - pianistic virtuosity and mind -blowing electronic textures.

This concert in Dublin is the result of a cooperation between the Dublin International Piano Festival and music:LX, started thanks to the 2015 Luxembourg Classical Meeting.
