The Fête de la Musique in Ettelbrück kicks off in the CAPE-Center of the Arts Pluriel Ettelbruck and the Conservatoire du Nord on 17 June with a wide-ranging programme from modern chanson to cuban rhythms to fanfarenklang.

A trio consisting of Jérôme Klamm, vocals, Daniel Bertucci, accordion, and Julien Bertucci on the guitar, who take their music to a different time when Guinguettes and big balls were on the agenda.

Just to be clear, OGM does not mean Organismes Génétiquement Modifiés, but Offre Générere de Mélodies ... This group has a mission to create an experience beyond words, using music to create a critical reflection on society, as well as on our planet.

15:00 - 15:45 La Chorale du CHNP, Podium, Grand Rue, Ettelbruck

For six years, Christiane Feinen has been singing with her patients at the psychiatric centre in Ettelbrück to produce healing effects for body and mind. Their studios are organised by the Fondation EME and are very popular.

16:15 - 17:15 Choco y sus Cómplices (Podium Grand Rue, Ettelbruck)

Eric Durrer, also known as Choco, is considered one of the best and most versatile Conga players in Europe. In his group "Choco y sus Cómplices" melodies of charanga, salsa, jazz, funk, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian styles are combined into a unique musical experience.

17:30 - 18:30 Ettelbrécker Strëpp, Podium, Grand Rue, Ettelbruck

Under the direction of Jean-Pol Meis, the Ettelbrécker Strëpp will sound like a brass band in the style of Egerland and Upper Carniola. The Ettelbrécker Strëpp does not hesitate to transfer the spark of the passion for brass music to his audience. The ensemble, composed of the Philharmonie Grand-Ducale and the municipality of Ettelbrück, has so far appeared 320 times in almost 40 years.
