The Luxembourg Comedy Festival 2016 is to take place between 17-20 November in the Grand Duchy, comprising over 20 shows attracting over 20 comedians from around the world.
Organised by Ville de Luxembourg and InternationalComedians.com, the festival will take place at four venues: Marionnette (15 Rue de Strasbourg), Urban (2 Rue de la Boucherie), Crossfire (15 Rue Dicks), and Konrad Café & Bar (7 rue du Nord).
Most festival shows are in English, and also one show each in Swedish, Danish, German and Dutch. In addition, there will be a show for children (recommended for ages 6-13+), a workshop where one can learn about stand-up comedy and perform the same evening, late night open mics, a Gala Opening with free prosecco and snacks and more! there will be 3 comics, including Dave
Thompson (UK) who was Tinky Winky in the popular Teletubbies show. Other international acts include Maureen Younger (UK), Andy Valvur (USA),vYianni Agisilaou (Australia), and top Scandinavian acts Isak Jansson (Sweden) and Claus Reiss (Denmark). Joining them will be a further 15+ comedians from UK, Greece, Canada, Germany, Portugal, Israel, USA, Holland, New Zealand and more.
Note: seats cannot be reserved for shows (except show #18 on Sunday for guests who book a table to eat brunch).
