Following the conclusion of the Cannes Film Festival, the Film Fund Luxembourg is now turning its attention to the Annecy International Animated Film Market which takes place on the sidelines of the Annecy International Film Festival, which will take place from 12 to 17 June, and in which no less than seven Luxembourg films will be screened.

Among the feature films, Ethel & Ernest by Roger Mainwood of Melusine Productions is in the official competition, and Richard the Stork by Toby Genkel and Reza Memari also with Melusine Productions is selected out of competition.

The Breadwinner by Nora Twomey from Melusine Productions, and Zero Impunity from Stéphane Hueber-Blies, Nicolas Blies et Denis Lambert from a_BAHN/Melusine Productions. Drôles de petites bêtes by Antoon Krings and Arnaud Bouron with Bidibul Productions will be shown.

Two television series have also made the cut, with Ernest & Célestine, The 'Blizzard' Collection by Julien Chheng and Jean-Christophe Roger of Melusine Productions and Babel, the account of a totalitarian madness' by Sean McCormack from Factory of Images.

At the Film Market, the Luxembourg umbrella stand will host 16 companies (production companies, animation studio, post-production and sound companies, plus service companies).
