Artist Mike Bourscheid’s display in the Luxembourg pavilion of the 57th Biennial of Contemporary Art in Venice was inaugurated yesterday in the presence of Secretary of State for Culture Guy Arendt.

The "Thank you so much for the flowers" exhibition combines costumes with hijacked domestic objects and the artist himself offers several performances throughout the biennial.

Guy Arendt thanked the artist, the curator Kevin Muhlen and Casino Luxembourg for their work putting the project together.

"With its participation 2017, Luxembourg again highlights the innovative character of the Cultural scene in Luxembourg. Mike Bourscheid knows how to surprise and I am convinced that the Luxembourg Pavilion will attract the attention of the public”, he said.

The Biennale of Contemporary Art in Venice will run until 26 November 2017 and the Luxembourg pavilion is open from 10:00 until 18:00 Wednesday to Monday.
