Luxembourg cargo airline, Cargolux Airlines, has added to its collection of STAT Times International Awards for Excellence in Air Cargo in Africa, with the fourth one given at the Air Cargo Africa 2017 conference in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Picked up for Excellence in Air Cargo in the category International All Cargo Carrier of the Year, the award was accepted by Jonathan Clark, Cargolux Regional Director Africa, at a gala ceremony on 22 February at the Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg.
“We are proud to be honoured by The STAT Times and our peers in the industry and appreciate the recognition that our customer dedication in Africa receives,” said Mr Clark.
“Africa remains an important market for Cargolux and we are happy to be able to support the continent’s trade lanes to Europe, the United States and Asia as well as across the Cargolux network worldwide.”
Cargolux has an extensive network in Africa, carrying everything from perishables fruit and flowers, to heavy machinery for the continent’s oil and gas industry.
