Sopra Steria PSF Luxembourg, a European leader in digital transformation, will celebrate 15 years in Luxembourg on 12-14 November 2016 at the Technoport in Esch-Belval.

With around 38,000 employees in more than 20 countries, the Sopra Steria Group has reached sales of €3.6 billion in 2015.

"The group is present in Luxembourg since 15 years this year and counts around 200 people. Our ambition is to support Luxembourg's will to develop e-skills and to become a major European digital and technology hub. We are delighted to celebrate our presence by organising an event that will speak to everyone and will include a Hackathon on the theme of security in banks", explained Jean-Jacques Genser, Managing Director of Sopra Steria PSF Luxembourg.

One event, three highlights

The celebrations will take place in three stages:

• From Saturday 12 (5pm) until Sunday 13 November, Sopra Steria in partnership with Société Générale, will host a Hackathon at the Technoport on the theme of security in banks. These 24hrs will allow around 40 developers/consultants to prototype and test innovative ideas in order to answer to the challenges the banking industry are facing today: payment via mobile, e- governance, the PSD2 Directive, API Management, e-signature, the hybrid cloud...

• On Monday 14 November, a number of discussions, round tables and presentations will be organised on the theme of pragmatic innovation, during which experts will address the following topics: Direct Banking in SaaS mode, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, applied AI against intelligence, robotics, SAP Digital, Enterprise 3.0, PSD2...

• The day will end with a closing ceremony. The welcome address will be given by Nicolas Buck, President of Fedil. The winner of the Hackathon will also be announced by Pierre-Yves Commanay, Executive Director Europe of the Sopra Steria Group

This not to be missed digital event will also be strongly influenced by the theme of "equal opportunities", which will be the common thread throughout the three days.
