Fujitsu Luxembourg, provider of digital solutions, has developed for KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb), an integrated banking solution enabling customers to remote access to financial data and information related to one or several portfolios.

KBL epb initially had a solution for digital banking provision of subsidiaries. "We proposed a web interface that allow customers to view their assets and documents (e.g. account statements) through a strong authentication system" recalled Dominique Battaglia, ADM - Banking Services Group - Manager KBL European Private Bankers SA. "We subsequently decided to change the web site by integrating a tablet interface solution. We turned to Fujitsu and Nvision and asked them to submit a Proof of Concept (POC). Both companies were perfectly complementary because Fujitsu had the technical competence and Nvision of expertise in terms of user experience. The final solution that combined the website and the mobile app on tablet was adopted, initially, by customers of our Belgian subsidiary, Puilaetco Dewaay Belgium since May and the UK subsidiary, Brown Shipley."

The web and tablet solution offers the same graphics and allows visualisation of assets (portfolios), document consultation and content management. "This last feature was immediately adopted by targeted marketing as a communication tool to customers," said Dominique Battaglia.

During the implementation of the solution, Fujitsu offered the KBL teams agile training. "This support has been a key element of success. With this approach, we were able to communicate our feedback regularly to Fujitsu which could, thus, adapt the solution so that it best meets our expectations and those of our customers."

The solution was successfully deployed. "It's a great technological achievement, we have very positive feedback from our customers" reflected Dominique Battaglia.
