ZAP has announced the launch of the new label "Hosted in Luxembourg" in the form of private label; its aim is to allow companies to display and promote their web hosting services and web applications in the Grand Duchy as quality and safety pledge, both locally and abroad.

Luxembourg has positioned itself in recent years as the global leader in hosting with very high availability, with over a third of European certified Tier IV data centres located in Luxembourg. The awarding of the label is for a period of two years, during which we reserve a right of control; in case of bending the rules, the label can be removed."

ZAP is strongly positioned in the Luxembourg ICT ecosystem and is supported by Internet savvy entrepreneurs and the Grand Duchy of defenders on the national and international level. he launch of the label is done with the official support of several private and public actors: the ICT Cluster, Datacenter Luxembourg and Luxembourg Private Telecom Operator. The first labels just been issued to seven companies active in the Internet services: Web Services Luxembourg, Doctena, EuroDNS, Luxnetwork, Conselio, Entropia and Squareboard.
