The Labour Inspectorate has experienced a simplification of administration through digitalisation.

The Labour Inspectorate, by pursuing digital changes, has simplified its exchanges. Certain steps, due to their increasingly large number, can now be carried out electronically through the MyGuichet platform.

Some other changes involve the implementation of a student contract for pupils and students during school holidays. This approach, which represents no less than 24,500 transmissions per year, can now be carried out online. The new procedure set up on the MyGuichet platform allows the employer who wishes to hire a pupil or student during the school holidays to transmit in a single click the contract of engagement with the latter.

Another update is the prior notification of overtime or Sunday work, which must be sent to the inspectorate beforehand. With the new MyGuichet wizard, the employer makes this request faster. Moreover, advance notices, which until now has only been sent by e-mail or by post, can now be sent electronically via MyGuichet.

This new function developed by the State Information Technology Centre (CTIE), in close collaboration with the Labour Inspectorate, is part of the government's aims to simplify users' daily lives by using new technologies (Digital First) and to bring more transparency in the exchanges between administration and companies.

Electronic filing and tracking of requests is done on the secure MyGuichet platform, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The approach is secured, the data transmission is instantaneous and assistance with the input makes it possible to avoid errors of filling of the form. Any attachments are directly specified and a helpdesk is available to guide the user during office hours. Once the process is transmitted, the company can follow the progress of its file online.
